Business Story

Why this business was started

Because I wanted to create of source of mostly passive income. I am currently a marketing major in college, and wanted to put my ad copy skills to the test. This store was more of a trial and error store. I knew I needed to make this store to test to see if I really have what it takes to me an online marketer. I also want to become a Facebook ads expert, and this store provided me a touchpoint for those ads. I also wanted to learn the ins and outs of Shopify.

The reason of selling this business

I want to move onto more niche related stores. This general store has taught me a lot, and has shown me what products really do sell. I also want to sell this to regain some capital to run my next business. This money will help me at the moment, but it will also help me in the long run. I also want to sell this because minimalism is a hot subject right now, and I believe this store, with my logo, and my URL, it could be valuable. It is time for someone to else to take this business to the moon, because I am moving on to other priorities as I stated.

What's involved in running this business

Posting on my two Instagram pages I have for the account, and setting up the Instagram bots that message potential customers. I use a software called Salesbrain, and used a series of tutorial videos to map out my copy. I edit the copy every so often to keep things fresh, and make it more appealing to customers. Also, every so often I will get an email from a customer or potential customer at my business e-mail. As this site is not too big, I do not get many of these. This is everything I do in running this site.

I am a college student going into my senior year. I am a marketing major with an emphasis in digital marketing. I have worked an internship in digital marketing, and it is something I could really see myself enjoying for a long time. One passion of mine is golf, and I have been playing for about 15 years now along side my twin brother. I am very competitive, because of this. My dream is to make an impact on as many peoples lives, and peoples businesses, as possible. I believe this is just the beginning.
