Why this business was started

I needed a change in my life, I was depressed and very down on my luck. I heard of drop shipping and tried it out, selling random cheap products, however with the long shipping times and the indecisive suppliers, I quickly realized that running a drop shipping store was not how I wanted to make my money. I looked at the bigger brands such as Coca Cola or LuluLemon, those brands make their money on returning customers. My thought process was to make a real brand that people actually like with fast shipping times and convince them to come back organically rather than through marketing. Once I started providing a high quality product with fast shipping times, the customer service emails went from complaints to people reaching out by email to tell me how much they loved the product. This is why I started this business, to build a sustainable brand that people liked and re order because they like it so much. I am happy, the customer is happy, that was the goal and that was why I started this business.

The reason of selling this business

I decided to sell my business at this time because of ongoing lawyer fees for personal reasons. It is urgent that I get money to pay for lawyer fees and that is why I am selling this business on the peak of its success. I know for a fact that if I chose to keep it and scale I would be a millionaire, but my time is taken by serious essential activities that I cannot avoid, currently. I have no choice but to sell it because I have no time to run it.

The majority of this business will be making deals with influencers. Reaching out to as many influencers as possible each day is essential. The more influencers you have, the more money you will make, it is simple. Regardless of if facebook ads are making you money, never stop promoting with influencers, diversifying your advertising assets are essential. I downloaded Jarvee, it is a bot that reaches out to influencers automatically and I have also hired people to reach out to them for me. I have noticed that it is done the best for the first message to be sent by a bot and the rest of the conversation should be handled by the business owner because you you and only you have the power to negotiate a deal where you are happy about.

Fulfillment is done through our private supplier. We send the supplier the orders and the supplier sends us back tracking numbers. Once you get the tracking numbers you upload the file to your store through an app on Shopify called Exportable. Outsourcing customer service VA’s is also essential because your only focus should be on influencers and other advertising platforms such as snapchat, google or facebook ads.     First, I would capitalize on the influencers I have already worked with (proven results) and build guaranteed capital to start.

    Once capital is gained, source other bracelets that connect. Bracelets of different colors, different fabrics and different styles. The only similarity is that they are in pairs of two and have magnets that connect. There are already more products that exist other than the one that is our best seller, which is why there is so much scalability potential. This change would turn our store from a one product store into a niche store, directing potential customers to the home page to browse collections instead of the product page.

    The store can be a one stop shop for couples presents. If you logically think about it, there are not a lot of online stores that only sell couples presents, so this store can definitely take over the whole couples market.     Then, use the data we acquired (10k+ email and phone number lists) and use it towards facebook, google and snapchat ads to easily scale.

    I would get a fulfillment center in the United States and provide 2-5 day shipping times. We were content with our 1-2 week shipping times but if it were 2-5 day shipping, sales would increase tremendously.

    After you finish scaling you will notice organic sales/traffic from google seo. We have already seen orders come organically, but in 5 years the goal of this business is to get many sales organically with no paid advertising.

    Skills to have

    Learn how to work with influencers and make profitable deals. Looking at the engagement and the niche of the social media account, is what should determine the price you pay. Always remember your break even ROAS and scaling with influencers will be very simple. If an influencer will at least make $400, and they charge $400 for a promo, it should be a no brainer to work with them. Once you make back your money, the profit margins skyrocket. Unlike facebook where you get a cost per purchase no matter what. With influencers the cost per purchase would be 0 after you made your money back. Learn influencer marketing and use that to leverage a brand that will be around for a lifetime.
