Why this business was started

The business was started to help create a space in the market for environmentally friendly garments that not only look good but were comfortable & good for the planet. These materials are made from recycled plastic bottles "Repreve" & are great quality and long lasting. We wanted to not only look after the environment but look after the customer with timeless pieces that can be worn year after year, not to mention a space with incredible customer support as you can see by our 5 star reviews.

The reason of selling this business

Unfortunately with a few other ventures in the works we've had to make the decision to put the brand into the hands of someone who can dedicate the time to building a team & who is truly interested in scaling a sustainable, luxury business! It is sad to see it go however with the right buyer there is huge international potential. We own the trademarks for the brand in both Australia and The USA which will be sold with the business.

    How to grow this business

    We have identified an untapped market: well-made, luxury, swimwear that is sustainably made, reasonably priced & ethically sourced. This label is now ready to scale! The foundation we've built is strong and our customers are loyal. Scaling the brand to an international market would be a great way to further grow the brand, this could be done via social media and FB ad marketing, influencers and wholesale accounts. We have potential marketplaces reaching out to us often to join them. By increasing the digital ad spend, introducing a loyalty program and an affiliate program would drive sales over the coming years. We'd also suggest expanding the inventory assortment to capitalise on the trusted brand name and drive business.

    Skills to have

    A love for the sustainable movement, a conscious, forward thinker. The ideal buyer would someone with existing knowledge of the fashion space, or, an existing apparel organisation looking to layer a sustainable, inclusive brand into its portfolio. Scaling could be easily reached by capitalising on the infrastructure of an existing e-com platform. The business will need someone with a design and product development background to oversee garment production, or we can provide this for you. A sustainability-driven director with great design skills will help maintain the brand’s aesthetic and integrity. It will also require an ecommerce guru to manage creation/content (photography), shipping/logistics, marketing efforts including email, digital marketing and social media.
