Why this business was started

I found there is lack of supply of children's clothing in Ireland, and it was very hard to find good styles and quality at reasonable prices. I wanted to bring my products to the market, they are unique comparing to anything available on the market. My mission is to nurture the passionate to fashion from children, children between 3 and 10 years old, almost all of these kids are not able to do their clothing purchase themselves, they rely on their parents (mostly mums) to buy their outfits. Which means the majority of your audience is women, mums with kids aged between 3-10Y, love fashion, and mostly financially stable with disposable money to purchase slightly above average fashion products. You could also switch the store to a Dropship store, which means you don't need to hold and manage stock, reduce capital liquidity risk, and you don't have to fulfill the orders yourself.

The reason of selling this business

I have to move to and live in another country, unfortunately it is not possible for me to bring my beautiful stock with me, whilst my customers stay where they are. It become not feasible for me to manage the store myself.

    This website had attracted attention of large audience, through social media, such as Facebook and Instagram, had loyal customers locally in Ireland and UK. Off line, my business also closely worked with celebrities with high influential power, I got invitations from fashion magazines, to be featured in the fashion section, it was once referred on Irish Times newspaper, and was featured on a live TV show. It had covered a large number of viewers, I even personally build good relationships with some customers. I have built very solid foundation for the business to grow, the store has hundreds of subscribers who are awaiting to hear about the store's newsletter.

    Skills to have

    You don't have to be an IT person to run the store, but you need to be good at using social media to promote your store, or if you are able to afford, you could also hire someone who is good at it. People would love to know who you are, who are they are doing business with, feel being connected, and have the confidence to place the order with you. Therefore relationship management is also really important to run an eCommerce.
