Why this business was started

I took over this store over 12 months ago to build up my knowledge of the ecommerce industry and build another income stream. Not to mention I am into fitness and knew it would be a great little low maintenance store to run on the side of my other stores. In the time I've had it its done over $70K AUD in sales. The reason of selling this business

I've decided to sell this store to focus on my other stores (completely unrelated niches). I'm also not as experienced at running Google ads as I'd like to be, so if that is your thing, you'll do well with this store.

The real great thing with this store is everything is done via Dropshipping. So the suppliers send everything directly to our customers for us. So you can run this store from anywhere.

This is truthfully the most easiest of my stores to run, taking approx 30 mins a day to send off any orders and reply to any enquiries. We also do weekly stock checks with certain suppliers.

General description

I bough this store when it had only made a handful of sales. Since owning it, in the last financial year it has done over $70K AUD in sales (see screenshot).

During that time I ran Google ads and Facebook ads to get traffic. The store comes with an Instagram account, Facebook page, Ebay account (makes a few sales here and there), Gumtree account etc..

All gear is sent by our suppliers directly to our customers (dropshipped) so its great that you can run this store from anywhere.

Have had about 6 articles written targeting the best SEO for the site and the gear it sells.

Store had one supplier when I took it over, and now has 4 suppliers, but mostly just use 2 of them. Only one supplier we get items shipped directly from their Thailand warehouse via DHL couriers which is very quick shipping. The other suppliers are all Australian based.

Currently the store has some awesome brands like Fairtex, Punch Equipment, TKO Fight Gear, Twins Special etc. ALl EXTREMELY well respected brands in the industry and we get them all for very good prices.

The site itself is a very impressive looking site and I’ve continually been optimising how it looks and performs.

Why am I selling it? Honestly I’m not the most talented at running ads on Google & Facebook and I’ve noticed that the Google ads have been costing more per conversion over the last few months.

So for now the Google ads have been turned off and we just retarget people on Facebook (conversions via retargeting on Facebook working very well).

So if you’re good with these kinds of ads then that will help HEAPS.

Also if you’re a fighting fan and you’re into say boxing, MMA etc, then this would be perfect for you to run on the side, or if you already own a targeted niche Instagram account etc then you could drive traffic to this site.

Like I said, the only thing at the moment is that the Google ads are costing a bit too much. If you can get more people to the site for free then the rest takes car of itself.

I am by all means open to offers on the price of this store, but nothing ridiculous please. Happy to negotiate.

Other details about profit: Profit is different for different products/suppliers. One supplier we have VERY good profit margins. Other ones are not too bad however the shipping cost may be better. Actual overall profit margin is approx only and really depends on your cold traffic costs (so for me was via Google). At times profit would have been close to $1000 a month AUD but then other times may have only been several hundred $$. I've even had a few months where there were losses due to a lot of testing with ads (Google, Facebook etc). Actual turnover each month was approx between $5k to $8.5k AUD a month. (One month did go over $10k). So yeh in full honestly; actual profit for the products is good (especially from one supplier), then the other main supplier the cost of shipping is more expensive which lowers the overall profit. The biggest thing with this store is going to be getting cheaper paid traffic for 'cold' audiences and also getting more free traffic. Like i said above, if you have a targeted Instagram account already in this niche that would be absolute GOLD! Or of course if you can drive paid traffic cheaper. Can give you screenshots etc of ad costs month to month if needed. Anything else just ask! Happy to help and will give you full honestly, guaranteed.
