Why this business was started
I set up the store to have a stable business bringing in regular monthly income that I can use to fund my other business ventures as well as give me the freedom to work for myself. The idea was to have a business running from which I can use the profits to live off with my monthly expenses while also have money left over for my other activities. It was to build a brand and business that can continue to grow and expand in the future.
The reason of selling this business
I have been running the business for a few years now. While it has been very good source of income, it is ultimately not my personal passion. It is a store aimed at dog lovers with items geared towards this market. I have made good money and built up other businesses at the same time that I now want to focus upon.
I do not currently have the time to continue and grow this store into a bigger business so looking to sell and focus on other projects. The foundations have been laid but unfortunately it is due to time it is not something I can fully work on to grow myself.
What's involved in running this business
The business is very simple and easy to run. It uses a dropshipping business and sales are driven from Facebook ads.
There are ads running to push customers to the store and these mostly just require monitoring and minor adjustments when and if needed. You will also need to send orders to the supplier everyday by exporting them in an excel spreadsheet. The orders can be exported from Shopify and minor adjustments need to be made such as taking out customer emails and irrelevant fields.
Other than this you can always find and research new product ideas, but as I have a good supplier, they can always help with suggestions. There is also a large email list of 17284 you can utilise, that I haven't used to it's full potential. Customers are mostly in US, UK as well as Canada & Australia. Other locations can be expanded into as well.

How to grow this business
The business has fantastic foundations and regular sales. There is a large email list and growing Facebook page. There is so much potential to expand and increase and grow the business in the next few years. Whether it is utilising the email list and increasing amount of returning customers or using channels such as Google, Instagram or Pinterest, all which have not even been used to push the business. There is also great potential to expand and diversify the product line into POD and many other products now the business has a solid platform.
Skills to have
The business is mainly run via Facebook Marketing, so the owner should be familiar with running ads. Other day to day tasks include support emails and exporting orders via excel spreadsheet to the supplier.
