Why this business was started
June 2018 is when I first started the business. I spent a lot of time making sure the product was set up and ready to go. September 2019 was when the business actually kicked off with all the foundations in place. The massage gun industry is booming, and Fire and Falcon is ready to expand massively for someone who is able to spend a few hours a week (sadly not a luxury I have right now).
I initially wanted to learn all about digital marketing (of course the extra money doesn't hurt at all!). I felt like dropshipping was a great starting point for learning digital marketing. Now that the business is branded and working more like a non-dropshipping business, I have been able to learn about more traditional marketing and brand growth. That makes this the perfect business to learn digital marketing for eCommerce as well as explore more traditional marketing methods.
The business is great because there is no cost of keeping inventory and you don't need to store it at home. Everything has become automated and just needs someone who is able to increase the ad spend and monitor the growth.
The reason of selling this business
Going into my final year of university means that I don't have time to dedicate to the business. There is huge potential for this company to take off and I would love to see it continue to grow into a household brand much like HyperIce and Theragun are.
What's involved in running this business
Fully automated fulfillment process. There is currently a fulfillment company in China who are dealing with fulfillment and shipping. They have an app integrated into Shopify which fulfillment is automatic within 24 hours or so from purchase.
Google advertising campaigns are operational and some are paused (can be unpaused when you want to increase ad spend)
Customer communication takes up maybe 20 minutes per day. There is around 8 months of Facebook Pixel data built up and waiting to be used. I am not confident in Facebook ads so I have not pursued that medium yet.

Knowledge of dropshipping is good, but not necessary as all the systems are currently set up and operational. You will have lots of time to work on your skills whilst this continues to make money. Then when you are confident in expanding, the business will be ready.
Black Friday was particularly successful last year, and I know it will also be hugely successful this year.
