Why this business was started
I've created this Boutique to get to know how the dropshipping business and the Shopify platform work. Fol'ding'Horse is the result of many hours of work and fun, search for products, understanding how a Shopify Boutique is structured, how it can be promoted through digital channels (FB, Google, etc.).
The reason of selling this business
Learning how Shopify and dropshipping work was very instructive but it is not my main activity. I'm sure that you will take it the next level: it's just waited for you to take the reins!
What's involved in running this business
Take orders on AliExpress, following up the good delivery of goods. Keep on eye on competition and novelties - keep the Boutique up-to-date. Marketing is what takes most of the time: Ads, newsletter, articles. It takes between 1 to 4h/week depending on your level of activity (how often you update the boutique, renew the ads, etc.)

How to grow this business
Everything is ready for a smooth start. Next nice-to-have would be to increase organic presence by writing more horse-related (and fun!) content on the blog,on Facebook, Instagram and develop Pinterest presence. Increase paid presence on those platforms is definitely a must (you may consider adding Snap to target a young audience 16-24 for eg.) I'd not go for paid search on Google until the Boutique has an establish presence and concrete content with more than 100 visits per day (unless you master Google and are able to perfectly target users and wisely choose your keywords). Pay attention to competition and observe what they sell. Compare their prices to yours, try to be slightly cheaper while keeping an eye on your margins (Oberlo blog articles provide with very good piece of advice when it comes to manage margins. Aim for 4x - 8x max ROI should definitely be profitable while being cheaper than competition).
Skills to have
Basics of FB ads. Snap and Pinterest are a nice-to-have. But all the Shopify functionalities are quite intuitive and straightforward. Of course, loving for horses and equitation is an advantage: you better speak about what you care for!
