This is a niche marketplace created to showcase niche items such as Tibetan/Steampunk, Gothic and Wiccan items. This is not limited to clothing, although this is a large part of the stores's cornerstone. Other items include the additional accessories or complimentary items that can be included with each category such as singing bowls with the Tibetan range, shoes with the gothic or steampunk ranges and of course within the wiccan ranges the items to list can be endless; tarot cards, crystals, jewellery etc. Recently due to request, I have added Manchester within the grouping genre's above, but also complimented it with interesting general interest items also. Education, Gaming, Computers, Fan Fiction are all new categories that are also their own "genre" and items are being added daily to these with sales beginning to increase.
Financials and traffic
We have just graduated from a starter store to an established store. We are only 2 months old. Costs are low with only a shopify store, an ebay store and domain hosting, with the business being dropshipping, these can remain low with all profits going directly to you.

This is unlike any other store. It is a niche market in a populace full of money waiting to be spent. Attend any comicon and you will see the hours and countless money people are willing to put into their costumes. It is a big market and there is nowhere people can get a one stop shop. Festival gear in particular is huge. I work to demand. You want it, I'll sell it. This is starting to bring people in to buy particularly as I am adding categories daily.
How can the future owner improve the business?
There is hard stock available located in Victoria, Melbourne, some of which is listed on Ebay but mostly only available in hard stock. It is perfect for festivals, listing on Ebay or keeping as ready stock for a physical store to open to compliment the website.
What work have you put into the store?
I have put over 1000 hours into the store, creating a wonderful ambience, with clear store categories and with the possible future growth for any new owner.
How many hours does it take to run this business per week?
We have owned and operated physical stores for more than 25 years. I have given very large competitors a run for their money. This is a "money for jam" store. Advertise and cater to the right crowds, and let your dropshipping make the money for you. Hard work is all done. Or use it to compliment a physical store.
