Why this business was started

We started this to show our children how to run something from the ground up, and provide them a job and income through their college and high school years. It has served that purpose and so much more. It's been a wonderful working project for our family that continues to grow by more than double every year. We selected ties and accessories because they are light to ship and we have supplier relationships that provided a competitive advantage. We do most of our business online and offer in-person pickup and shipping from our shop as well.

The reason of selling this business

We are moving overseas for another job opportunity. Otherwise, we would keep on loving Frank & Buck! It has served us well in so many ways, teaching business skills, how to work, problem solving, brain storming, planning/organizing schedules and business plans, how to work together by dividing time and talents. It has also provided work for members of our community who lost work during the pandemic. We've been able to support fundraising, and donate ties to hospitals and various organizations in countries worldwide.

We have a few great supplier partners and employees who can do the day-to-day heavy lifting if you desire. This involves everything from selecting fabrics all the way through marketing and order fulfillment and customer support and service. Supplier relations, customer relations, ordering product, fulfilling orders, photographing and listing items for sale on the website, tracking inventory, social media marketing, employee training and schedules, newsletters, running ad campaigns, working with wedding clients and more.

We have mastered facebook and instagram marketing and fine-tuned it to our business. We are also looking beyond facebook and instagram and have developed 1:1 permissioned connections with thousands of loyal, referring customers.

    • Personal support after sale

      We will provide training 5 hours a week in person (or remote via zoom, skype or facetime) Monday through Friday until June 1, 2021 for one or two sessions per week (5 hour session or 2.5 hour x 2). We will provide up to 5 additional remote hours in two sessions (2.5 hour x 2 ) M-F excluding holidays, to be redeemed prior to July 1st, 2021, remotely via facetime, skype or zoom. After this, help can be mutually agreed upon and scheduled, if needed.

    Now that we have such a powerful platform and loyal customer base, we would add additional products and continue to offer a wide variety of fabrics to stay unique. We have a few stores where we sell wholesale, but many more requests. This could be also be a huge avenue to explore. Other avenues of marketing would propel this company. We have only scratched the surface in this area, if marketing is one of your talents, you could really do well.

    Customer service, organizational skills, international relations and cultural awareness when dealing with suppliers, accounting, marketing-esp. social media, photography, graphic design. We have an employee that is very talented in this area and could stay on as needed.
