Why this business was started

I decided to start this store on Oct 1st 2021 as a gift giving idea for Q4 2021. The goal was to create a good gift guide experience for my customers and provide quality goods in addition to the amazing customer service I perform for them. This is a general store so that it is easy to pivot from product to product. This store is 100% a dropship store.

The reason of selling this business

My wife has asked me to sell the store to try and recoup some of the costs that went into it. The price is firm and non-negotiable at this time.

This business can be tailored to anyone's specific business plan and easily adaptable. The majority of the sales came from Facebook, but I have recently started pivoting to Google for the free ads in addition to paid ads. This store has also ran some TikTok ads (very minimal) and I believe that this store can adapt to anyone's preferred marketing strategy. This store has two main agents as far as product fulfillment. Since this is a dropship store they are both located in China. You can definitely use your own source if you have one already, but all the products are tied to one or both of my agents and you would have to relink them to your own agent's program (if applicable). I do all my customer service which is done via Shopify Inbox or Email communication. This store does not have a designated phone line.

Other details about profit: The profit numbers have dipped since January 2022. The reason being is this store's peak season is Q4 and I have scaled down advertising significantly over the last few months. I am currently trying to switch marketing from Facebook to Google and this is the reason for the lower numbers these past few months as I am not as familiar with google ads. I expect once I learn more about google ads over time the profit will scale back up. This is another reason why I recommend this store to someone more experienced, the more marketing knowledge you have the better chances you have of raising the profit numbers.

    My recommendation would be to continue adding items to the store via importing them through Oberlo and expanding the current category list. I would then ensure that they are all updated appropriately in google to ensure maximizing your exposure on google shopping for natural sales.
