We've started a variety of online marketplaces and have extensive experience in international sourcing. When the pandemic originally hit we saw a need to offer reasonably priced essentials products when everyone else was charge crazy high prices, so we did just that.

This business was always a side project for the partners involved and we've all gotten too busy with our primary businesses to really give it the attention to grow further.

What's involved in running this business

There's probably a few customer service inquiries a week and the rest of the time could be spent on marketing. We use ShipLab to fulfill all orders and hold our inventory, so everything is drop shipped straight from their warehouse which makes that side incredibly easy.

Other details about profit: Varies depending on monthly promotions/discounts. We had run Facebook ads and Instagram ads last year which is why there is a large spike. However, we didn't have the time to continue running the ads and maintain the account while keeping up with the supply of product since we have other businesses that we run. For the last few months we have not run any ads so that is why you see a large dip. The $4,000 to $5,000 per month is revenue that is solely from emailing our customer database.
