Why this business was started
I purchased this website from someone who had past success with the products in the store for $1,000 hoping I would also see results.
My understanding was that I would have a custom, niche store built on my behalf. However, I was sold a general store in the end that only had imported products from a different store.
I'm selling this for anyone who likes the layout and template of the site to build their own brand of products around this layout.
The reason of selling this business
I haven't dedicated much time to it and prefer niche stores as opposed to general stores.
What's involved in running this business
Branding, advertising, and product research
A general store created for me with a premium "Shoptimized" template. The store was neglected and thus is being sold as a starter store with the premium template and imported test products. I spent $1,000 to have this store built for me over a year ago, but could never get behind it after realizing that it was a general products store, which I find difficult to brand.
I would expect the new owner to treat it as a starter store, clear everything, and use the included premium template for their own store.
Why should someone buy this store?
If you want a template with an abundance of features baked in, this is your chance to get it along with an entire catalog of products.
How can the future owner improve the business?
Advertise consistently and build a brand around it.
What work have you put into the store?
I re-designed the store, installed apps, and ran small amounts of traffic early on.

How to grow this business
I would start over with private label products or print on demand products and build around a niche rather than take a general aproach.
