What's involved in running this business

We recently moved to a Print on Demand (PoD) business model which has simplified the operational side of the business. We design the garments (taking inspiration from the health and wellness industry trends) Create the product imagery. Create the listings on Shopify. Link the listings to our PoD partner's software. When orders come in, the automatically get sent to the PoD partner to process. The PoD partner prints and dispatch the item directly to the customer. Outside of this process we have a fulfilment house, which handles returns (though you could do this yourself from your office or home). We also handle customer service and the social media marketing and facebook ads. We have an accountant and bookkeeper who take care of the financial side, though you could do this yourself, depending on your preferred business set up.

We design and retail sweatshirts, tanks, tees and accessories for your workout and beyond. We saw a gap in the market for ethically produced activewear and loungewear that was fun and didn't take itself too seriously. Hey! Holla features tongue-in-cheek designs to add a pop of personality to your sweats!

40,000 products sold. Over half a million dollars in sales across all sales channels which include Shopify, marketplaces and trade.

We feel proud to have won best stand at Be:Fit London for two years in a row and to have been stocked all over the world from up and down the UK to Australia, France, USA, Switzerland, Cyprus, Dubai and Nigeria, to name but a few!

We've held pop ups at Liberty, Le Bon Marche in Paris and Topshop and we've been featured in top publications such as Health & Fitness Magazine, Women's Health, BuzzFeed, The Guardian, Grazia, The Telegraph, You Magazine, Evening Standard, Fit & Well and Psychologies.

We also have marketplace stores set up on Not On The High Street (NOTHS) and Hard To Find (Australia) and came runner up in the Partnership of the year awards for NOTHS.

We have a 'no sweatshops for our sweats' promise. We ran focus groups with women to make sure we're offering the right style, fit, fabric and overall quality. The online store is all set up and ready to go and linked to inventory management software. We have trusted supplier relationships and an excellent and reliable fulfillment house.
