I bought the business in 2019; however, the website has been up and running since 1997.

I bought it to expand on my portfolio of businesses/websites.

The reason of selling this business

I am in a situation where I have to cut back on my investments due to a serious illness in my family. I have to spend more time helping to take care of my mother and I just can not spend the time necessary to run this business correctly.

What's involved in running this business

I run this business as a dropship business with little to no inventory.

  1. I receive an order on the website.
  2. I create a purchase order for the items my customers order and place the order with the supplier.
  3. The supplier then fulfills the order and sends me tracking information which I forward to the customer.
  4. The supplier sends me the bill which I pay and enter into my system.
  5. On rare occasions, I must follow up with customers on issues that they are having.

To help drive traffic to the site I am currently using a Google Shopping Campaign to create automated ads to select products.

    How to grow this business

    There are still many product listings on the store that need to be optimized that I have not been able to get to yet from the previous owners.

    Continue to find high profit products and focus a more in-depth Google Ads campaign on these products.

    Build the social media following and focus on Facebook Ads.

    The biggest opportunity for this business is email marketing. I have nearly 6000 customer listings in the Shopify store and over 300,000 on the overall email list. I am currently NOT doing any email marketing. I just have not had time to develop this.

    If a buy had the potential to purchase inventory, they could save quite a bit of money on quantity discounts and dropship fees.
