Why this business was started
I started the business during lockdown selling homeware products and plants as this niche became very popular. I pivoted into wellness as this started to grow faster and lots of the feedback we got from our customers was that they felt our website and brand felt a like a modern spa experience and the products were great for their wellbeing, so we decided to focus on growing this feeling further.
The reason of selling this business
One of my other businesses takes up all my time now and so I haven't had the time to maintain or grow this business further. It is still a great brand with a distinguishable look and feel that is loved by our customers and has plenty of potential to pick back up with sales if you restart the marketing.
What's involved in running this business
Posting on social media (Instagram) for marketing (has all been free so far with only organic traffic and no paid advertising) as well as sending some of our products for free to small influencers for them to post about it. You can either import goods to fulfill orders yourself or dropship items. I have done both via Aliexpress and [REDACTED] for this store. Research new products to add to the site (done via wholesale companies)
