We made had great customer service, worked with Instagram influencers, and ran several highly successful marketing campaigns via Facebook ads, as well as marketing through Google Adwords and Mailchimp. This store has so much more to give and is established enough to easily be taken to even greater heights. We are only selling this store because our other passions/businesses are demanding all our attention and we don't have time to invest in this particular venture anymore. We started out with a vision to create a brand that women would be drawn to for all the right reasons, without the usual "cheap" and "impersonal" feel of standard dropshipping stores. Though circumstances are causing us to sell, we still believe in what we've created and feel it has so much more to give. We hope whoever takes it on has the drive and passion to continue to improve on what we've done and fulfill Ivy and Envy's potential. How can the future owner improve the business?

There is room for improvement in the storefront itself (matching product images and pages, fixing or improving copy and product descriptions). Also, the product selection needs to be refined and improved, we have not seriously dedicated time to the store since April 2018. The biggest pieces of advice we would give for the new owner are: 1. Grow a MASSIVE social presence (work with more influencers, get more email subscribers, pay for followers, whatever it takes) and USE YOUR AUDIENCE. 2. Run effective retargeting campaigns (google, bing, youtube). We never really got around to doing this, but you definitely should because the ROI is fantastic. 3. Gamify the sales funnel and make customers feel connected to the brand (tell an effective story). This is the best way to turn visitors into customers and customers into repeat customers. 4. Hire a VA to do basic customers service and order fulfillment. This was a big mistake we made and wasted a lot of time on when we could've been strategizing.

What work have you put into the store?

Because we wanted to create most of our own product and marketing content, and give the most personal experience to our customers, we dedicated a lot of hours to building Ivy and Envy into the brand it is now. From studio & lifestyle product photography, to videos, email campaigns, and customer service, it has been a lot for just 2 people. We are super proud of what we have done and are ready to pass it into another's capable hands. The man hours can be anywhere from 10-30hrs/week if you're creating ads, testing products, improving the store, and fulfilling orders all yourself.
