Why this business was started
The plan for this store was a long term strategy - to create a trustworthy brand that would initially grow from paid traffic (facebook, adwords, instagram), and in the long term rank well organically. I had also planned to use a strong email marketing strategy as well.
The idea with this was a long term project, and to build a strong brand that people could trust. Hence i went all out and heavily modified a current template, i also hired an high quality designer to help me create a site that looks good, feels great and functions perfectly. (there were a lot of bugs and modifications to make, this didnt come cheap)
The reason of selling this business
The original plan was to sell in the US and use local US based suppliers to fulfill all my orders (i live in Australia). The reason for this was i wanted fast shipping, quality products, quality packaging, etc, to go along with that strong brand i was creating. I figured this would be pretty straight forward however after several months of cold calling, emailing and scouring the web, along with paid drop-shipping directories i couldn't find a single decent drop-shipper for baby products (strollers, car seats, etc).
I couldnt setup my own fulfillment as im in another country so this just came to an abrupt deadend for me.
The store is fantastic and would suit someone who has already figured out their own distribution method.
It was never used before, 0 revenue, all the products on there now are just dummy products. What you're purchasing is the branding, brand name, the template, and modified theme.
