I desired to create another form of income and I thought this would be a good avenue. Upon becoming engulfed in this field I realized how wonderful it was too be a buisness owner. Being able to build relationships with customers and buisness I learned so much about the field. I wanted to create something special and that is exactly what I did.
The reason of selling this business
The reason I am selling the store is because at this point in time other personal events in my life have taken precedence other than running this buisness. Working a regular job on top of taking care of family in the home, it is no longer a sustainable buisness for me personally.
What's involved in running this business
There are 3 things that are key when it comes to running this buisness. The first one above all else is the customer service. Through having a visible number on the website we have been able to speak with customers as they call, text, or chat with us via a shopify app. Having an open line of communication with the customers at all times gives them an opportunity to hear a voice that softens their heart toward buying. The second would building relationships with your suppliers and always adding more suppliers to your list. Through having a variety of product in the catalog as well as maintaining a similar niche, the shop clearly looks distinguishable and unique. The third and final way the shop requires running is through google AdWords. On a bi weekly basis it is important to to constantly modify and tweak your negative key words in your shopping campaign as well as seeing what devices are converting and not. The time of the day is also important to modifying your campaigns so as to not waste money on meaningless clicks that do not convert. Customer service, supplier relations, and AdWords set up are 3 key things to making this shop a well oiled machine. Other things that come much easier is fulfilling orders that come in through sending purchase orders from suppliers. This also requires to have a wholesale agreement between you and your supplier.
