Why this business was started

I originally started this business when I entered my first year of college. I was in search of a high-quality Japanese Chef knife for under $200 but was not able to find one. The lightbulb then went off in my head.

What if I were to start a Japanese knife company and cut the middleman out, thus making a high quality product more affordable for the masses? So that’s what I did. I crowdfunded my business idea on Kickstarter and Indiegogo and we raised almost $30,000 in just one month and since then have reached almost $60,000 in sales counting all sales channels. We have also just recently launched a new product line this past month which moved $3000 in inventory in just one month, so the room for potential is enormous.

The reason of selling this business

This was a tough decision for me. As other ventures are becoming increasingly more demanding of me, I feel like the minimal time I am putting into this business is not what it deserves in terms of growth potential. If I had the time? I feel very confidently that you are holding a 7 figure business in your hands.
