Why this business was started

We started this business after helping a start up after being promised equity in that personalised jewellery business. We decided to start our own on the side whilst working on our 2 main businesses. There is a huge market for personalised jewellery, and it is only growing rapidly. The demographic is female aged 16-30, and there is a huge uptrend which is definitely reflected on social media. We love the idea of being able to air ship over product, especially during this time where sea shipping is expensive and unreliable. We also found that the product is relatively cheap to produce and purchase, to be sold for 8-10x + margins.

We've just reached a significant milestone on one of our alternative businesses that we've been running for over 5 years now and it is requiring a lot of our attention. We've decided to sell 2 of our 3 e-commerce businesses to focus primarily on building a team for our main venture. We just don't have time to really focus on marketing, run ads and maintain.

Other details about profit: Profit is quite high due to the low cost of the product. Our product costs anywhere between $1.25 - $4.5. As of yet, we've only spent around $500 on Facebook advertising and we've generated around $4500 in sales through social media and being on platforms like Clearpay, Klarna and posting in jewellery groups.

      All assets will be transferred by we transfer. We have a ton of assets, shot video content for ads, loads of model shots, loads of influencer shots, brand guidelines, email assets, social media assets.
    • Personal support after sale

      We can provide up to 4 weeks of support after the sale from all 3 of our directors. Stock can be shipped to the buyer, shipping fees should be relatively inexpensive as the stock is jewellery. Packaging (boxes and pouches) can also be shipped. We can ship all the jewellery to another UK address free of charge or worldwide at the buyers cost. We've spent over £24,000 on this business to date. Here is a breakdown of inventory spend: Jewellery Spend - £8200 Packaging Spend (Jewellery boxes and jewellery pouches) - £4450 Packing Mailer Boxes - £1470 Cards for boxes - £600 Here is a breakdown of some other costs we've spent: Shopify + Apps - £400 Facebook Ads - £650 Shipping stock to uk - £2000 Photographer + Model Fees - £3150 Other professinonal fees (e.g. copy writing + web dev) - £2000 Import Duty - £700 As we've only done around 150 orders to date - this hasn't made a dent in our inventory, so the buyer will have a minimum of $19,500 (£14,300) worth of inventory. We had to pay for import duty. Buying this business, you'll save a lot of money on elements we've paid for. The listing price is around 1/2 of what we've spent in total.
