Why this business was started

This business was started in 2014. I started this business because I wanted to close a gap within the fast-fashion industry. I wanted to offer minimalistic style clothing at an affordable price. In the fast fashion industry, everything is ran fast, and in my option it leaves little to no room to focus on the overall customer experience. I sought out to offer great quality affordable clothing while still giving a unique shopping experience for customers.

The reason of selling this business

I personally know that this business has great potential to someday become a top brand competing with very big well known companies already in the fast-fashion industry. Being a mother, I do not have the same amount of time to help grow this business into what I know it could be. I love this business so much that instead of waiting around until I have enough free time again, I'd rather pass it on to someone that can accomplish what I know can be done.

What's involved in running this business

Sending monthly emails to subscribers, sourcing and buying inventory, keeping up with all social media accounts, taking/editing product photos, refreshing the site on a bi-weekly basis, and shipping out packages.

How to grow this business

If I were not selling, I would hire an SEO expert first, then create new inventory to sell along side the drop shipping products. I would advertise on Instagram and Pinterest. Take new product photos on a model, and change the layout and design of the website.

Skills to have

The owner should know how to use mail chimp, organized posting social media skills, working with hashtags, how to utilize influencers for advertisement, how to create Instagram and Facebook ads, google Adwords, how to redesign a Shopify store, how to use Shopify, blogging, writing product descriptions.
