I decided to start this business because I think office wear for women is far to expensive. There didn't seem to be a good alternative for women who want unique styles that are also affordable. I decided to start this business to fix just that. I wanted to provide truly unique pieces that would make women stand out at work while also removing that feeling of guilt for treating themselves.

I have decided to go back to school and pursue my master's degree in Supply Chain Management.

How to grow this business
I started as a dropshipping brand - connecting suppliers directly to our customers - to take advantage of low costs and the reduced inventory risk. This model, while effective to test and grow our business, had a glass celling we couldn't seem to break. To grow this business over the next five years we would further leverage our relationships with our suppliers overseas to produce our successful products at a margin of our current costs. We would also expand how we operate with our 3rd party logistics partners (ShipBob) - so they can provide the most competitive storage, handling, and shipping costs for our business - in line with our pricing strategy. Finally, we would go global. Our current success was all realized in the US but we are confident our model would work worldwide.
Skills to have
New owners should have basic digital marketing skills or at least have someone on their team who does. It is not rocket science but a basic understanding of how Facebook marketing works, how email marketing works, and the power of influencer marketing, would go a long way. However, even if they don't, we are willing to include training on how we have made our store a success to make sure the transition is seamless.
