Description

General description

$5600 in sales!

I started this store about half a year ago because I definitely saw the swimwear industry lacking. Prices were greatly marked up and the quality of products were not up to par. I figured I can start my own business and the rest is history.

This store has done about $900 in sales in the first month. For the second month, it has done $1600 in sales. If you are looking for a turnkey store that guarantees revenue every month with not much research to do , this is the store for you. I do not spend any money on advertising. I want to reiterate that the store is doing this much in sales organically, without any advertising or real work. The only work that I have really put in is fulfilling orders. Total sales so far is $5500. Profit margin is about 70%. I can send further verification if required or I can get into contact with Shopify/ Exchange support.

After talking to an expert listing manager at flippa, the store at the 12 month point will be valued at $18,000-$30,000 (I can verify this information)

I am including our Instagram account in the sale which is doing really great at the moment. We've gotten over 20k followers in our first month and are growing fast. We're now almost at 30k followers. The domain is also included.

Our customers love our products and there are about 200 individuals that are ready to post pictures on their instagram pages at a moments notice. Just give them a promotion code to advertise and sales will definitely increase.

No inventory is required to be held but I have been creating custom packaging to help with the branding of the store. I will be including these designs in the sale.

Our email retargeting for abandoned carts has a success rate of about 8%.

Our profit margin is about 70% when taking into account all of our sales on average.

Some things that the new owner can fix with the website are finding new suppliers, putting out advertisements, and teaming up with influencers. We haven't changed suppliers since the very beginning so our margins are not as good as they could be. Profit margins could be around 80-85% with the right suppliers. A new owner could also work on putting out advertisements for the apparel . Teaming up with a big Instagram influencer would bring about a big increase in sales. It would help with brand recognition and trust. Search engine optimization is also something that could be worked on.

As we get closer to summer 2019, sales are going to shoot up. January was about $350, February will hit $700-1000, March will hit $1500-$2000 and April-August are looking at $3000-$6000 per month.

One of my biggest ideas was that the brand could team up with a major celebrity or youtuber in exchange for offering the celebrity an equity stake in the company of around 10-20%. Sales would skyrocket with that endorsement but I have never gotten around to doing that.

The reason why sales had dipped from October - December of 2018 was because someone made an offer on the store so it was closed for a bit.

Unfortunately, I don't have time to continue working on the store, I am in my second year of college so I'll be pretty busy. I do want to talk to potential buyers before so that I can gauge if the store will be in good hands or not.

I'm willing to negotiate on the price. It is a good investment store because if sales are consistent at even $1000 a month, the store can easily be worth $16k to $24 in 12 months. After talking to an expert listing manager at flippa, the store at the 12 month point will be valued at $18,000-$30,000 ( in a few more months ). As of now, the store is currently valued at $7000-$10,000 based on 2-3x annual profit.

Based on our projections, the store will do $15k-$25k at the minimum this coming summer. This is why we have priced our store at the price we are asking for. We are looking to do $4k-$10k each month minimum in revenue from March to August.

I will be offering full support after the purchase in the form of skype calls/ text messages so I can fully explain everything about the store.

Why should someone buy this store?

This store has sales and is proven to be making profits. All it needs is someone to run the store that can spend about 1-2 hours each week.

How can the future owner improve the business?

The future owner can do better with advertisements. I never spent any money on advertisements. It has always been organic traffic with us. I haven't posted much on Instagram but that can definitely be improved in the future.

What work have you put into the store?

I have imported products, created an instagram, and grown the brand following. I also have trustworthy suppliers that I have been working with.

Time to run this business: approximately 2 hours per week

Other details about profit: Sales are increasing every month. Profit is about 68% of revenue but can be brought up to 80%. The profit per month is listed so low at 470 per month because our store was in limbo and not selling for a couple of months. In our summer season for 2019, we are looking to make atleast $15k-25k based on our current projections.

    Seller‘s Advice

    How to grow this business

I would focus on first making the Instagram account look as good as possible. After that, I would focus more on the branding aspect of the business.

I'm currently a college student. I started this site on the side as a way to make extra cash but I don't have the time to run it anymore. This is because I am going to be going back to school around mid september.
