I started this business because there was a hole in the market, and I wanted to provide gorgeous yoga mats for an elevated practice. Too many mats were plain and boring, while the inner experience of practicing yoga is not. It is lush, imaginitive, colorful, and I thought yogis deserved a mat that looked the same. A dedicated yogi and artist with a strong project management abilities, I was ready to take something big on. I have enjoyed watching yogis around the world fall in love with your products for the past 8 years.
I am now selling the business to focus on other creative projects. I was selling to some larger wholesale accounts that no longer carry yoga assortments. Competitors have since emerged on the market and I no longer have the energy to innovate. I hope to find a new owner who can carry the torch with refreshed enthusiasm. I am willing to continue providing design work for the new owner.

Other details about profit: I work with both retail and wholesale customers. In 2014 and 2015 Magic Carpet Yoga Mats brought in much higher revenue due to media exposure and partnerships with major retailers. We no longer work with them because they no longer carry yoga in their assortments.
