Why this business was started

I started this business in the beginning of 2015 as I saw a niche market for online baby boutiques that sold high quality baby carriers and cloth diapers. I had just had a baby a few months prior and basically wanted to stay home with her while I earned a income. Little did I know how in demand this a business like this was. The business model I developed gives an incredible amount of flexibility, you can run this as an online strictly store and ship out orders. Or you can expand to service your local area, where you will find fiercely loyal customers who LOVE to buy from you. I was able to stay home with my children, never miss an event, be there when they were sick and make lots of money.

The reason of selling this business

I started this business on somewhat of a whim. I saw a need in my community and also room to grow on the internet for this type of service and product. It has absolutely exploded and requires more time than what I will have available in the coming months, as I will be going back to university. I also have another service based business that I am trying to grow.

What's involved in running this business

Day to day is : ordering stock as needed, packing orders for local delivery and shipment, engaging customers on Facebook in my private chatter group and on the main page, keeping an eye on local facebook groups for customers in need of products I sell. Its quite minimal, and you can do much of this work from the phone. The revenue you will make is directly proportional to the time and energy you put in.
