Why this business was started

My husband and I have a combined total of 500,000 organic followers on Instagram. As a model and a photographer it made sense to sell our own brand of lingerie instead of someone else's. We've been able to utilize all of our accounts in regards to marketing the brand. The Mari Del Mars Instagram has over 100,000 followers and excellent engagement with our customers. This account will come with the Shopify sale.

The reason of selling this business

My wife and I are moving into a new industry and we don't have the time to handle inventory, ship products, shoot and maintain the Instagram. While we have loved what our store has done for us, our attention has shifted towards other things.

What's involved in running this business

Maintaining the Instagram. This includes taking and posting our own photos but also posting user generated content as well as inspiration photos that aren't directly related to our product but fit the brands aesthetic. Buying and shipping inventory. Customer service and every now and then talking to influencers to shoot our product.
