I thought it would be a good idea to have a site that was professionally designed to target a niche market which desired affordable, minimalist and timeless looking watches.

This is a drop shipping store that has the potential to move into white label once a big enough client base has been created, at this point with almost 1500 customers it is ripe to take to the next level.

The reason of selling this business

I have two other projects which I work on and take up all my time, so I can't give this site the effort it deserves.

Approximately 5 hours per week are needed to manage the site, including processing orders using the Oberlo plugin (one click and it automatically creates the order), as well as customer support via email.

A Social Media Marketing campaign is needed to generate traffic and sales. I do have a blueprint on how this has been done successfully in the past, however there are many ways to market a fashion site.

Matte Black Online is a men's fashion accessories dropshipping site specializing in minimalist watches, as well as selling sunglasses, bracelets, bags and wallets.

The site is listed on Catch and Groupon Australia as well as Ebay and Amazon US.

An email list consisting of customers, abandoned carts and exit popup is at 1400 emails. There is a lot of potential there for a solid email marketing campaign as well as advertising on Facebook/Instagram.

Why should someone buy this store?

Promotions perform well to fashion conscious youth with a more limited budget. There is now a database of over 1800 which can be used for marketing purposes such as email marketing and Facebook Lookalike advertising.

200 posts have been made on Instagram, however there are photo assets worth thousands of dollars on hand for social media marketing. Untouched are Pinterest and Tumblr, and there are still a lot of photos unused on Facebook and Twitter.

The relationships with Groupon and are solid and can be used for future sales.

One of our main suppliers brings out fashionable watches every season, he has a new line which has not been promoted yet and will do very well.

How can the future owner improve the business?

There are many marketing avenues that can be pursued, including an effective email or Facebook sales funnel, unfortunately I have not had the time to give this site the attention it needs.

Facebook advertising could be undertaken with the existing email database that the sale of the site comes with.

Affiliate marketing could go alot of further, with sites such as Groupon and Catch promoting these products already, there are other such sites that would do so. The relationships just need to be created.

There is a lot of potential that can be had on Instagram with influencers, unfortunately I was not able to pursue that avenue.
