Heather Maud Burkert and Carrie Maud Kelley of Greenlands Farm created a new kind of web store. A place that strives to deliver handmade farm products made with pure and simple ingredients, ingredients that reflect times gone by, back when things were produced and grown with the purity of nature and by hands rough from the use of tools. Maudie's Farm Mart is a mother daughter venture, carrying on family traditions of the farm lifestyle. After running a successful brick-and-mortar store (Greenlands Farm Store), Maud Kelley developed a completed web store in 2016 with the intention of closing the brick-and-mortar store in 2017 and moving completely to web sales for 2018. Our vision unfortunately has been cut short due to unexpected health complications over the last 2 years, not long after the web site was developed. After coming to terms with the reality of what both Heather Maud and Carrie Maud can commit to, the website cannot continue under their ownership. All the ground work and development has been set up for a great online store: product design (trademarked logo and labels), site design (graphic art, product pictures and descriptions, FAQ, shipping, returns, etc.), social media accounts, etc. All someone needs to do is step into taking it over.
Our typical work day for running Maudie’s Farm Mart includes marketing (product photos, social media, Mailchimp emails), making contacts in the local shops for carrying products (some may include national chains like Whole Foods and Earth Fare), making products, packaging, and fulfilling/shipping orders. We keep our inventory low as to provide freshly packaged items like teas and products with essential oils (soaps, lotions, candles, etc.). We do make many of our items by hand including the soaps, candles, body and home sprays, and deodorant. Our lotion bases are purchased in bulk and we add botanicals and essential oils to make them our own. Our organic teas are sourced through a quality wholesale tea company; we select teas and package them for resale. When orders come in, we pull the order from our inventory and package in a Maudie’s Farm Mart green shipping box for “farm to doorstep delivery”. Generally, each order takes 5 minutes to fulfill.

We will also include a psd files for labels so you can edit as needed and have for renewing trademarked labels. All the labels used by Maudie’s Farm Mart are created by Maud Kelley, most of them hand-drawn and hand-rendered, each is unique and many are a throw-back to the 1940’s when hand drawn labels were most popular. The logo and many of the labels are registered trademarks. All trademarks will be transferred to new owners during sale (legal fees not included, if applicable).

Most of the products we sell are relatively easy to make! If the new owner is not a hands on person, finding someone to make and package products would be advised.
