Why this business was started
I started this business because it was my dream to launch a mermaid/beach inspired store. Bikinis and mermaids are huge niches on social medias and it just seemed perfect to combine the two, but I wanted to run it differently than your typical store. What I wanted was to create a swim boutique with soul - one that supported smaller brands, sold only natural/vegan beauty products, and gave back a percentage of sales.
The store is all set up and ready to go and has strong branding. At this point all that's really needed is for it to be promoted.
The reason of selling this business
This a side project of mine that I've had sitting dormant for a long time - several months at least, probably well over a year to be honest. I grew attached to the concept and design and kept the store around, hoping to one day finally have enough time to regularly dedicate to running and marketing it, but I've finally accepted that it's best to let it go and hand it over to someone who can truly commit to it. The store has great potential and I wish I had time to do more with it, but unfortunately I don't. That's why I'm selling the store.

I recommend reaching out to influencers.
Eventually you should invest profits into ordering custom made dropshipped swimwear so you'd have truly original products you can sell without worrying about price matching with competitors selling identical products. Profit margins would also be higher, meaning you could run better sales/deals. If you'd prefer to remain a retailer of brands, I would recommend personally reaching out to any brands you're interested in stocking so that you aren't limited by the offerings provided by the dropshipping apps on Shopify.
