Why this business was started

I saw that the product had a lot of potential and wasn't being sold or advertised the right way so I jumped in. The world is going crazy about reusable things so I believe i've jumped on the wagon pretty early. The pads I source are also of exceptional quality, and if you read our reviews, they are by far beat our competitors. A huge reason as to why I created the business was also because I suffered from heavy periods which most ladies do, so I'm helping solve a problem.

This is unfortunately down to illness. I can no longer cope with the day to day tasks of my business. Hence the low price.

    How to grow this business

    Minksie made it to £67,000 in sales within the first 12 months. I made 33k profit from this. New owners could expand this shop by taking advantage of platforms like Etsy & Amazon. I have also not taken advantage of new advertising platforms like, TikTok, Pinterest, and Google Ads. You could also just refresh this shop and make it a drop shipping site if you want to put less work into it. The audience is there. I have also been approached by multiple small Eco friendly shops which you could take advantage of and wholesale too. So far I have solely sold pads and wet bags but I have a list of other products that would sell brilliantly in conjunction with the pads. The site definitely needs a product you can up-sell your customers and also perhaps a subscription product. Currently we only sell to the UK so there is huge potential if you want to start this in the US. All our current sales are only from the UK and you could double this by making this brand international. As I only sell 1 product you could expand into other reusable/eco friendly categories too. The biggest thing I wanted to achieve with this business was getting into schools, work places and sponsored by water companies. (I have already been approached by water companies and schools)

    I am unfortunately selling my reusable bamboo pad company due to illness, and as a matter of urgency, open to offers.
