Why this business was started

I decided to start this business as all of the facemasks I had tried steamed and misted up my glasses.

I spent months and lots of money buying other facemasks that claimed to stop my glasses misting up but all failed. I designed and created this Facemask and sourced the highly-specific materials from all over the world to ensure tihis facemask worked.

And by virtue of our sales numbers and reviews - it does.

I started the business whilst on furlough from my company and am starting a new full time role which leaves less time for me to grow this business.

    Seller‘s Advice

    How to grow this business

    Our store enjoys high conversation rates of 4.45% over last 3 months with an AoV of £23.29. This is based purely on a single product with only 5 colour variants.

    Future owners could grow the business through offering complementary products which would support cross-sell thereby increasing Average Order Value and the Lifetime Value of the Customer.

    Crucially, we currently only operate in the UK although we are about to expand to the US and Europe. By offering our product for sale in the US and other countries existing owners could massively expand the business.

    Finally whereas I do have listings on Ebay/Amazon and Etsy I have put very little time and effort into those channels - a new owner could substantially increase the business by investing in those channels.

    Skills to have

    The key to the business is customer service hence high existing customer purchases. Any new owner should be prepared to maintain the high levels of customer satisfaction.
