Why this business was started

I came up with an idea for an ecommerce business and I needed to learn about ecommerce and thought a site to test out and learn about the business was the best way to do it. This site was used so I could learn about the ecommerce and to test different strategies. I also used the brand to create custom products that I sell on this site and on Amazon USA.

The reason of selling this business

I have launched my other business idea (not related to fashion and apparel) and this site has been neglected, so I decided I will give a limited time to sell this site, if not sold shortly, I will be shutting down the site and re-purposing the social media accounts.

Other details about profit: Haven't done anything with the business in over a year, so the averages and such are much lower than they would have been otherwise. I have also been selling the travel jewelry organizers and wood earring sets on Amazon US marketplace via FBA. Without any advertising and minimal social media, we still receive a few orders every month, so restarting should be easy with a great website and healthy social media following.

    How to grow this business

    The store has been largely stagnant for the last year+

    You'll start with a robust number of followers: Instagram [missgrandeurshop (23.9K), missgrandeurjewelry (4.4K), missgrandeurpremium (4.1K) and Pinterest (1.4K followers, 10.4K monthly viewers). With increased and regular social media posts, running advertising campaigns and updated SEO, you should see an immediate growth in the business. I would also start advertising on TikTok.

    There is also an opportunity to expand internationally, while the site currently ships to 12 countries, most marketing efforts were focused on the US market. There were overseas influencers that had approached us to partner, we declined because we were focusing on the US market.

    Skills to have

    Social Media is huge, Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook were the main traffic drivers for this site. The already robust number of followers will be a great start for anyone that takes over the business to start reaching interested people from day one. Advertising creation (a good idea for color combinations, careful wording and good pictures). If you do enjoy taking pictures, that's also a bonus, I was paying photographers for product pictures. Understanding of SEO is very useful.
