Mitz Kids is an exciting and profitable established clothing brand that manufactures fun and educational clothes for kids. This is a great investment opportunity for a new entrepreneur OR an existing store/brand that would like to expand their product offering.

We have grown this business to an average monthly profit of around $2,000 from a strong and loyal customer base. We have many great product/brand reviews, and have an engaged social media audience of over 11k followers and an email audience over 7k subscribers. The vast majority of our sales come from organic, word-of-mouth and email campaign sales. We have not fully tested the digital advertising market, and someone who is experienced in online advertising will be able to quickly and easily scale this business.

About the brand:

The two founders started this company in 2016 via a successful Kickstarter campaign (which still drives traffic to this day). Many parents fell in love with our mission of providing fun, educational clothing free from gender stereotypes for young girls and boys alike. Our first most popular product was our Dinosaur Dress with 3D spikes down the back.

Parents love these clothing items with 3D elements and we then brought that idea to our Rainbow and Dark Dinosaur lines. We would highly recommend that the next owners also explore this avenue for new products, and given our established supplier network, introducing new products would be a breeze.

Why we’re selling:

We have bootstrapped this business from the beginning. In the two years since funding on Kickstarter, the two founders have worked on this project as a part-time gig and have grown the revenue and traffic. One of the founders comes from a background in education and the other in backend web development - neither had a strong background in digital marketing, which any ecommerce company needs to scale. The founders no longer have the time the brand needs to really succeed. We would rather see someone create a successful business than for it to sit idly by (albeit, still generating a nice profit per month).

This opens up a great investment opportunity for someone to buy an established kids clothing line, and easily scale this business.

Mitz Kids is ready to be scaled to the next level. Everything from the supplier network to the website has been established. Now, it just needs an individual or team who knows their way around digital marketing to scale the business. With the brief Facebook Ads testing we did for one month during the Holiday season 2017, we were able to easily achieve a 3.0x RoaS with a Customer Acquisition Cost of less than $15.

Additionally, both founders will be fully committed to getting the store, inventory, ideas and much more transferred to the new owners. As the founders are close to the brand, we will happily provide ideas, brainstorming and more as you further scale this business.

While this business can maintain itself and kick off a profit as-is, there are quite a few opportunities for a future owner to improve the business:
