Why this business was started

I was between jobs and wanted to create a store that was designed with a target audience in mind. I felt that millennials have a certain taste for their clothing and home decor, particularly women. They tend to have more stylish, quirky and comfortable preferences for their fashion and decor. They want their purchases to not only reflect popular trends, but them as individuals. As a result, I created this store to cater to their interests.

The reason of selling this business

I'm afraid that my lack of business knowledge was a large contributing factor to my need to sell the store. I was not informed enough on how to market my store and really get the word out there. Additionally, I am not working 60-80 hours a week and know that I don't have the time to bring this store to where I know it could be.

What's involved in running this business

There is a third party dropship service that I have an account with as my supplier. This makes it easier to dispatch orders either weekly, or monthly, depending on volume. The higher the volume, the greater the cost savings on the part of the store owner. A proper advertising strategy is required to help this store gain momentum.
