Why this business was started

I decided to start this business because I was receiving targeted ads to learn how to dropship. I had just had surgery and was not working for an entire month so I thought I'd give it a shot. I have a background in Shopify and I worked very hard to test products and found a few that brought in a majority of my sales. One in particular that brought in $68,743 in the month of October alone. I've optimized the site to only require 5-10 hours a week (at the most). It's also an amazing way to make money with little to no overhead (no inventory) and you don't need a huge knowledge base. I would recommend watching a few videos to learn how Oberlo works and you can hit the ground running.

The reason of selling this business

I'm starting a new ecommerce website that is more aligned with products I'm passionate about. I also still work full time and simply don't have the time. My background and passion is in the fashion industry. I thoroughly enjoyed building and optimizing this website, but I'm ready to start a new passion project.

What's involved in running this business

Knowledge of Oberlo, Aliexpress, and zendesk. I hired an assistant through upwork who took care of all of my customer emails through zendesk as well as placing all my Oberlo orders in Aliexpress, making my job very easy. All I had to do was minimal site maintenance, add new products, and run FB ads.

Other details about profit: All of my sales are through this shopify store. As mentioned I've only ever opened my store during the holidays. (Oct, Nov, and Dec) If I average my entire profit over a year it comes out to about $20,000/month. However, in October alone I made over $106,000.

I'll send over a one time packet with all of my information (zendesk, FB page, best selling product info., my best performing audience and who I target, etc.) and all my tips and tricks. I'll also provide an email you can contact me for the first week of familiarizing yourself with the site to answer any questions you have.

    How to grow this business

    I would utilize my email list and retarget website visitors with paid advertising. I would also open the store full time and allow customer to shop throughout the year. As I mentioned above, I only open my store during the Holiday season. Adding more products to the site via Oberlo and Aliexpress. I would also explore advertising on Pinterest, as there is a lot of opportunity there.
