Why this business was started
Launched a couple of years ago, we quickly gained momentum in the custom print on demand space in the pet niche due to our most unique product that has yet to be replicated: custom pet decals.
Since then, we've launched other products and currently have a number of unique, exclusive things. First, we have custom backgrounds in which we own the rights and property to these backgrounds. Very few other print on demand pet brands have this.
Second, we sell custom pet decals and are the best in the world. It's our top seller and it's the best quality on the marketing.
Third, we have custom software in which the customer can preview their art on ALL backgrounds before making a decision. Only 1 other print on demand company has this.
These reasons alone, without the revenue potential, are extremely valuable.
The reason of selling this business
I'm a serial entrepreneur. I recently launched another business and it has literally taken more time than I can imagine. I cannot do both effectively. It does NOT compete with this business. And I invested a ton of time and money into this new business that I did not realize would require me so much right now.
What's involved in running this business
The operations of the business is largely automated. We have a backend system that delivers orders to the designers. From there, it goes to our backend software that sends the artwork to the customer for approval. Once approved, the we finalize and send the order to our partner supplier who sends to the customer.
Our backend team has a good system and process, so the operations involved is limited.
The bulk of your time will need to be the marketing.
To generate traffic, I've used Facebook ads. You can explore other options if you are an expert in that field.
We have a strong backend customer experience. Once a buyer comes on, I've already got the sequences and scripts in place to ensure a positive experience.
