Why this business was started

After a few failed businesses I finally found these backpacks that were instantly selling very well. I realized that there is a great demand for this type of backpacks and started scaling the store. The store is about 1 year and 3 months old and has made it to 2.680 orders until now. I am improving it every single day since it all started. With growing numbers and sales, there was more work. I couldn't handle it all by myself so I reduced the advertise spendings again. Since the shop has already turned in a real brand, new customers are coming every single day, even without any advertisements. That's mostly because of a good SEO and existing customers, who are showing their bags to their friends. A big advantage in this type of products is that you can take very nice pictures of the bags while they're in action. So I hired some photographers that delivered me around 200 product pictures by now, so I always have something to upload on Instagram & Facebook.

The store language can easily be changed into any language, so that you can sell in every country.

The reason of selling this business

Over time my interests were going in different directions, so I started 2 more successfull stores (one automatic AliExpress store & one Print-On-Demand store) which are more profitable for me. I simply don't have the time to manage 3 stores at once. There is a very big potential in this store that needs to be exploited by someone who has the time and ambition.

Other details about profit: The profit of 27% is only my case, because I repack the backpacks at my home and send them to the customers by myself. If you would send them from Aliexpress directly to the customer, you would receive a profit of around 35-37%. There are currently two more cooperations with companies, that are ordering our backpacks for reselling every month. The buyer would of course overtake these contacts and cooperations with buying this store to secure some sort of "passive" income.

    How to grow this business

    To grow the store over the next 5 years and reach the full potential, I would spend more time in searching for a local manufacturer, since the backpacks only come from China until now. The production + shipping would be much cheaper and the profit margin would be even higher. A more advanced step would be to find a manufacturer that offers vegan leather products, so you can offer both: Real leather and vegan leather. The third step I would take is to develop completely new backpacks to differentiate yourself from all the others. This step is not that hard, considering you already have your manufacturer at this point.

    Skills to have

    The new owner should have some experience in Facebook advertisements. The ads that are used for this shop are very easy to understand and can be learned in a few days or less. Another usefull skill would be to have a big ambition to put in work, because this store has so much potential.
