We started myconics as we want to make consumption more sustainable. You don't convince more people about conscious consumption through dogmatics und finger pointing, but through the right offer. With myconics we are building an online Destination with great products in terms of quality and style and on top all curated articles are sustainably produced. We convince with quality and Zeitgeist and through that attract conventional customers to a more sustainable lifestyle.
Today we have a highly customized and conversion optimized store - SEO and conversion optimized product detail page template (including, for example, highlight texts in the header, optimized price box, …) - [REDACTED] frontend - Innovative implementation of product filter on collections page (faster than any filter app from the app store) - Dozens of ready-to-use templates in the web editor (header highlight rows, template for the start page, popups, image/webm integration and lots, lots more)
The reason of selling this business
Last year was our most successful year: We achieved net revenues of 0,55 Mio. US$ with more than 12.000 new customers. As we are building up an online platform, we are not yet able to finance growth through our working capital, but need growth investment. Despite our success, were not able to convince private nor institutional investors.
