Why this business was started

After generating some figures in classic dropshipping, I decided to capitalize on my efforts and build a real brand, a solid business. I have to do research on the market, on the competition, the potential that there was on this niche. My main goal was to grow this brand for 5 years, to acquire a very large clientele, a reputation and to be leader of my market in different countries of the world. I’m not necessarily passionate about the products, but rather about the processes and the overall development of the brand.

The reason of selling this business

To be totally frank with you, I decide to sell this business because I want to invest in other projects, and start other online businesses. In addition, a treasury is necessary to ensure the need for working capital, that is to say to ensure the storage of parts in the desired country (only in France for the moment). It is a choice that I make, even though I am attached to the project because it is, personally, my biggest project that I created and launched in my entrepreneurial adventure. I know the potential of this brand, and I am sure it has a very great future.

What's involved in running this business

As I told you a little earlier, I put different processes in place in this shop. This starts from the quality of the products, which are certified to European standards (EC). Then, a designer takes care of creating all the brand’s design, packaging, labels and photo retouching. The products are stored in France, in warehouses that my supplier owns. The management of the logistics, of the sending of orders is fully automated (my supplier takes care of it). The current delivery methods are 3 to 5 days with the post office, or 24/48h with UPS express. The development of other products is pending, but the design is already done and more than to be produced, store and consume. Because these are the customers who offered me new products (close relations with the customers). An instagram of the brand is available, as well as a Tiktok and a pinterest (less worked). Brand ambassadors publish regularly on the networks, beauty institutes buy the products. For paid publications, all pixels and tracking are in place. Google Ads, Fb Ads, Snap Ads, Tiktok Ads, Pinterest Ads. Not to mention a few influencers we worked with. A person is drunk dedicated to emailing and sms, as well as a person performs phone reminders and satisfaction surveys. I also create a truspilot account in order to bring credibility to customers and improve SEO. One person is also responsible for improving the site, the customers' purchase path. All payment methods are in place: Stripe, PayPal, Apple Pay, Klarna (payment in 3 times without charge). The entire graphic charter is in place, I have set up a recognizable visual identity.

    My brand has great potential both online, and both in physical stores. Following my processes in place, a full range of products is ready to be put in place and sold to existing customers. The goal is to develop the brand abroad, go and discover other markets. The storage and production process is already ready to launch into other markets with high potential.

    Skills to have

    The new owner will have to have a global vision, a long-term vision and respect the values I have set within my brand. Communicate, delegate and be creative. Obviously, I will train the new owner in order to know the expectations of the customers, to share with him all the processes and the whole team so that he or she, feels in his element. Finally, I will say that it must be full of passion, and must be focused on its customers.
