I was inspired to start a clothing business after hearing multiple friends and strangers compliment the designs they would see in my art book. Many of the comments I received included 'I would totally wear that on a shirt'. I took a risk and invested. I purchased a heat press, a vinyl machine and some blank stock to work with. It was not long before I had a shopify website up and running, along with a growing instagram platform.
The reason of selling this business
I have recently been accepted into a degree, which will involve full time study at University. I love Nastee.co and what it has grown into - but I am ready to part ways with it and change my path. I hope whoever owns Nastee.co after me puts as much love and effort into it as I have. It really is such a rewarding enjoyable business to work with.
What's involved in running this business
Social Media - facebook and instagram page posts and communication with customers on both platforms.
Administration - email account, printing order forms, postage and packaging, emailing customers their postage tracking number.
Labour (unless you outsource) - Printing designs on vinyl, pressing them onto garmets with heat press.
Designing - Designing new product.

Suppliers
I personally source my blank t-shirts from a wholesaler in Sydney. I have a good relationship with the supplier and have used him for 2 years. I have never had a problem with anything being out of stock or damaged. I also have connections with a supplier in China, with whom I sourced my crop tops from.

Seller‘s Advice
How to grow this business
I would build up an inventory of my product. This would save costs and of course the time/labour of hand making all the t-shirts (which I am currently doing). I would potentially employ someone to assist with the administration and social media side of things so that I could direct my main focus on designing.
Skills to have
Apart from being creative with new designs, the rest is very easy to pick up. Hand making the product is simple, as well as running the online store. If you wish to create more designs yourself, I would recommend someone who has creative design skills. I also feel marketing and customer service skills are beneficial.

Jessica L.Current store owner
My name is Jessica Lush and I have been comfortably self employed for 3 years now. I began Nastee.co with $2000 and some design ideas. The business grew rapidly and has not stopped growing and expanding. The business has a large social media following, a clear audience and a consistent flow of incoming orders all year around. I am happy to step back completely after selling the business - but also happy to offer my design skills for future items.
