Why this business was started
I have a passion for business and I wanted to start a dropshipping store but I didn't like the traditional way of setting up an awful looking general store selling lots of random stuff. I like wearing hats and I'm interested in streetwear/fashion so it seemed like the perfect fit for me.
The reason of selling this business
I am going into final year of College so I need to ensure I'm focused on that and I am working on another store that I'm more passionate about. I don't want this store to go to waste as I know it can be successful if the right person chooses to buy it (the reason why I'm selling it rather than closing it).
What's involved in running this business
Managing a Facebook and Instagram account. Fulfilling orders and communicating with suppliers to negotiate pricing. Also looking out for new trending products - I liked using Urban Outfitters and similar brands as an example of what to sell.
The store started out as Not Your Average Dad Hats as I had an interest in hats and fashion accessories. It was then rebranded as NYA Outfitters to extend the product range. The store did well when I had the time and put some money into Facebook Ads. The store would benefit from someone who is willing to grow the NYA Outfitters brand.

It has a lot of potential and can be profitable if a focus is put on growing the Instagram account. The new owners can take this solid foundation and create a community around streetwear. I am very happy with how the store looks - especially the product pages. A lot of time was spent on these.

What work have you put into the store?
Last year I put a lot of work into product research and populating the store with products. I also spent a lot of time writing detailed and persuasive product descriptions. I have spent a lot of time on this store to get it to where it is - a lot of work has already been done for you.
