Obsession Cases

I started Obsession Cases in February, aiming to simply learn more about business and e-commerce. I was still studying at the time, and was doing the business for fun to learn new skills that may aid me in the future. It became a bit of a hobby which I couldn't wait to carry on working on every night. When the lockdown was placed due to coronavirus, I spent much more time working on the site and managed to start advertising and making sales. The store became more serious and I was putting all my time into it at the start of the lockdown. I spent a lot of time learning about marketing and business, which has led me to my dream of becoming an entrepreneur, which is why I am now choosing to move on and chase new projects, handing this store off to new owners.

To follow on from above, running Obsession Cases, went from a little hobby to a passion. The passion was for business and entrepreneurship though, and that is a life goal I am now pursuing. I will be going back to college soon, and simply won't have enough time to study, work on new business projects and continue this store. Given that my dream is entrepreneurship, I am handing the store over to new owners who can grow it and scale it, so that I can put more time into my new projects and studies. Whoever owns Obsession Cases next will have an incredible business completely ready to scale and make incredible amounts of money in a high demand niche. I will certainly miss Obsession Cases, as it contains months of hard work and determination, but I must move on in my career and entrust it to someone who can take the business to the next level and make more from it than I already have.

A lot of Obsession Cases has been set up already, so there isn't much work required. The most difficult task you will need to do is marketing. I recommend Facebook Ads with a placement predominantly on Instagram. Instagram is the placement I have been most successful from with this store. As a result, you should make sure you understand Facebook Ads before starting your marketing campaigns. I recommend you look into lookalike audiences once you've had a decent amount of traffic or have started making significant numbers of sales and add to carts. I will not be including the current social media accounts in the sale, so you will have to set up new accounts. I can give you advice on growing your pages particularly Instagram accounts though to help you out in this process.

The only other difficult task is SEO. All the SEO for the store has been done so its not an issue at first, but should you want to add new products to the store, you should make sure you understand the basics of SEO so you can optimise your new products efficiently.

To fulfil orders, go to your AliExpress account and find the product you wish to order and fill in the customer details and your payment details. We will send across a spreadsheet containing links to each of the products, which you can then add to your AliExpress wish list to keep all of your products all in one place.

There isn't much else to it, the only other jobs are responding to customer queries, email marketing and any product research or new products you wish to add to the store.

The store is only in its early stages, and is ready to scale should you want to. With all of the products set up and SEO completed for all the pages and products, the store can be up and running straight away. With some targeted ads and focusing in on future lookalike audiences on Facebook Ads, you have the ability to grow this store insane amounts and make more from it than I ever did. This store is in a popular high demand niche selling phone cases, because with people constantly buying new phones, they constantly need new cases too. Additionally, competition is limited, so you could very well dominate the market with a bit of hard work.

I am not including social media pages in the sale of this site, so you will have to create new pages. We will rebrand our current social media pages, and will keep the @username on Instagram until you've set up your page, then we will remove the @ off of our account so you can claim it for yourself.

You may want to invest into some accountancy software in the future to keep track of your expenses and income. This makes tax assessments much easier when it comes to it. I use the QuickBooks Self Employed app for iOS, which only costs around $5 per month and links directly to whatever bank accounts or PayPal you use for the store.

The main skills you will need to know are social media marketing. I recommend doing most of your marketing on Facebook Ads, specifically on Instagram as thats where the best target markets seem to be for the products at hand. It would also be useful in the future to know some coding with the .liquid files in the shopify theme, just as a few tweaks have been made by me to allow for product personalisation etc. The final thing you may want to learn in the future is SEO should you want to add new products to the store, however this has been completed for the current products and pages already on the store, so its nothing to worry about right now.
