Why this business was started

Hi everyone! Firstly: we sell in 5 countries, and this store is 1 out of 5. Please ADVISE: this is a package deal. I am looking for a future owner who wants to buy the whole business (5 identical webshop each targetting a different country.).

I started this business during my study in the Netherlands almost 2 years ago. I started this business because I always hated the 9-5 and was scared when I would graduate and would go work at some boring company. I wanted to create my own life and live life on my own terms. I wanted the freedom to work where I want, whenever I want.

Therefore I was looking for interesting business models, thats where I found dropshipping. Low risk, but endless possibilities. I scouted wholesalers and found that this product was selling really well. Thats where I decided to buy 1 for myself and try them out. I absolutely loved them. Even my friends and family asked me where I got it. Thats when I thought: 'maybe other people would really love them aswell'. So I created a store and started selling. Now it's an 7-figure revenue making brand with a team of 10 persons. PS: the whole team stays if I find a new owner. No need to find people.

The reason of selling this business

I am also working with a friend of mine on another business. I am selling this business as we are in the process of expanding our e-commerce operations and need additional capital to buy inventory in bulk for our other business. If we didn't need the capital, I'd hold onto this gem for many years.

What's involved in running this business

The key components of running this business are: - Advertising: making advertisements on Facebook, Google and occasionaly Pinterest. - Order fullfillment: one of my employee's extract the order csv. sheets from Shopify and sends it on Skype to our supplier. The supplier fullfilles everything in 2/3 days and then they get shipped out with custom packaging and thank you card to the customers in the different countries. - Customer service: So for each country I have a store manager who runs the store and who handles the customer support. Therefore you always have someone who can level with the customers on a local level and ofcourse have the perfect spelling and grammer for that language. - Emailmarketing: I have an emailmarketing team who runs the flows and campaigns for each store wherein customers are being asked to return to the store for more products, discounts and other sales promotions. - Administration: I have an employee who does the Profit and Loss on a daily basis. So you always have insights in how the business is performing on a daily level.

The only thing I do: is being busy with the advertisements department.

    How to grow this business

    This store is the DK store. We sell in 5 countries, and this store is 1 out of 5. Please ADVISE: this is a package deal. I am looking for a future owner who wants to buy the whole business, not just one domain webshop. Also, I will be noting the key stats of the business as a whole and a breakdown in the cost section per webshop so you get a detailed overview. The other stores are including the price breakdown per store (this is based on 1x the annual earnings after taxes, also negociable):

    The product we are selling is super simple but is absolutely helpfull and people are loving it. I am wearing them myself aswell. It is a general product and almost everyone wears it.

    So a few key stats this year: - Over $800.000 in revenue. - More than 46.000 orders. - More than 180.000 same products sold. - Revenue from emailmarketing: €50.000 - 40.000 active email list. - AOV is around €24,-. Profit marge is €17-€19, depending on the country. - Facebook Feedback score: 4.2

    FOR FUTURE OWNERS: What opportunities lies ahead: - Increasing the AOV. This product is screaming for some upsells since alot of products go very well with it. I havent been testing much with this because the original funnel was already selling fantastic, so to be honest I got a bit lazy. But I am sure this AOV can increase.

    • Expanding to different countries: I have tested this funnel incredibly long. Thats why I was able to sell and still sell succesfully the same product for over 1.5 years. Leveraging this knowledge you can duplicate this to other countries and start selling there aswell.

    • The business is fully branded with custom packaging and fast shipping. The packaging is still plastic. For environmental purposes I would change this to craft bags.

    • Emaillist: the emailmarketing team is loving my customer base since we are consistently doing profitable campagnes for over 1.5 years. Adding more promo's, extra products or even better campaigns can increase the sales from our active email list.

    • Professionalize the website: the content on the store are still videos of my showing the product in my student room. Although the site has a high conversion rate, I can recommend to try to professionalize the store.

    • Experiment more with Pinterest. Pinterest is doing really well, but I dont have the skills for that platform quite yet.
