This store is mainly focused on the very popular natural health industry - in particular essential oils/aromatherapy. There is significant room for growth, right across the wellness industry with a range of products. I originally branded the store 'on-trend' so as to also be able to capitalise on any new, trending products to add to my catalogue. Store design and layout look great, and the descriptions are all well written and original. Sales are quite solid considering the limited amount of advertising (Facebook Ads) to date.
How can the future owner improve the business?
Product range can be added to either remain within the natural health niche - ie adding sporting related product lines such as yoga etc. Also clothing lines, and can expand right across the alternative health space (crystals, health books etc.)
As previously mentioned, with the branding 'on-trend' it is easy to also capitalise on any current trending products.
More time spent building out social media profiles will also pay-off - I currently use 2 x Facebook Pages for promotion - I have my original On-trend Online Page (which I haven't been overly active in) and also a second health based page - Holistic 'n Healthy - this is the Page I run most of my advertising through.
Instagram and Pinterest accounts have also been created (again, I haven't been overly active) and there is now the opportunity to tag products for this store on Instagram.
What work have you put into the store?
I've added a select range of products and personally written ALL descriptions etc. Layout and FAQ are also all personally written.
Advertising of products through Facebook Ads, and I have installed some useful apps to assist - of note, I've recently removed Bold Apps (Product Discount, Product upsell) prior to sale - I recommend reinstalling both of these. Product Upsell particularly worked well (eg. I had felt replacement pads as an upsell - this offer was very often taken up). Due to my competitive pricing, and the type of products I often had people purchasing multiple items in a checkout.
