Why this business was started

We started the OOTN e-com store because our men's streetwear store was growing extremely quickly into 100k plus and wanted to add an additional channel. The secondary market is now growing faster than the primary market and a very lucrative part of the retail industry. Also, with much success in our Men's store, we know Women have a much larger market sector which is appealing. By teaming up with OOTN Mag, allowed to start with a strong foundation.

The reason of selling this business

Now our original men's store store has taken on a VC investment, now requiring our full attention. Without having a shopify plus account it is difficult for our staff to focus on two separate businesses, because multi store is not supported requiring our team to log in to both stores daily or managing a separate team to run the store, which we are not currently wanting to do. Our current marketing efforts, revolve around Men's clothing & footwear, and will require another marketing team to give OOTN the attention it deserves. We would love to pass this store onto a passionate individual to take this store to the next level.

    INVENTORY - Getting the right inventory, at the right time, at the right price online will convert. As new products are released on stockx, you will need to add them via the application. Make sure to get these up on release day, and notify your customers they are available.

    Also, expanding into carrying your own inventory to supplement your inventory with other that align with the women's designer category.

    SOCIAL MEDIA - Founded in 2014, OOTN has an amazing existing brand that has been dormant. Focusing on social media content to get the audience engaged I believe is top priority. Settup up the Facebook & Instagram shop. Then including paid advertisements, and teaming with influencers to drive traffic to the social & website. With increased traffic to the website, the website is ready to convert at a high rate.

    RETARGETING AD'S - Devoting budget to retargeting ad's will target customers that have already been browsing your website.

    Hi, This store is special because includes a drop ship application that pulls products from [REDACTED] and lists on OOTN.NYC. This is perfect for a secondary market start-up or existing brick & mortar because you can include 1000's of sku's without the upfront cost/ risk inventory. The Facebook 155k , Instagram 66k has a great foundation. Our original store's best month was 130k using the same application.
