OzMegaToys is not your average dropship store. We don’t spam market, we don’t sell cheap factory products and we don’t have 20 day shipping times, instead, we are all about Australian products to Australian prices, which means we have fast shipping times (2-7 days), with local warranties held by our suppliers and are able to sell quality Australian brands to enthusiastic families country wide.

Our suppliers are based throughout Australia, with multiple warehouses spanning over 5 states, with some suppliers holding multiple locations.

We are not the average "toy shop", instead, we specialise in big toys, think about the toys you would not typically buy from a shelf, that’s us. So you’re probably thinking, "well that’s going to be expensive shipping rates", however this is not the case, as we have piggy backed onto our suppliers shipping rates through their agreed shipping agents, which means we are able to charge the same rate as what our suppliers do, and in most cases, a little less.

OzMegaToys has an automated selling system and uses mainly AdWords PLA for all initial buyers, but our organic reach is growing thanks to our SEO agent which we are working closely with to improve out SERP.

OzMegaToys was born in December 2017 and has shown good potential for very big profits. With the right strategies, OzMegaToys is sure to be a winner!

Do you work with any employees, freelancers, or contractors?

Kat is in Manilla in the Philippines and is extremely well spoken. Her wage is high at $8.5 AUD per hour, but that’s because she is very efficient and is able to complete all tasks (usually) within the 2 hours of the day which she gets paid for. Kat knows the CS side very will and impresses me constantly. She would like to work more for hours for OzMegaToys but the need at this stage it not high enough, but this is because I still have a hold on thing and am still managing some of the tasks on my own.

Why should someone buy this store?

With margins ranging from 20% up to 60%, the safety of local supplier warranties, quick shipping times and a clever throughout theme with the website charges being no more than $50 per month (ex marketing charges through Shopify should you wish to use these) OzMegaToys as a marketers dream. As our product are typically a lot more expensive than typical dropship stores, and an average yield of 30% margin, from a typical single sale valued at $850 the resulting profits would be $255 ex marketing costs. This results in big profits for the same amount of work at smaller dropship product sites.

How can the future owner improve the business?

There is a lot of room for growth! We personally have contacted a number of other suppliers and have signed agreements in place to begin trading with them, which include many other fun products ranging from SUP’s, water park toys, inflatable towing toys, electronic scooters and skateboards and much more. We also have a list of suppliers which we have been in contact with which are not signed, but are willing to collaborate.

If your marketing game is strong, this is another great way to improve the business.

What work have you put into the store?

I have built the business from the ground up. I personally have created the store form a customised theme from Theme Forrest, contacted the suppliers, created the agreements, entered all products (except for the ones which my VA has inverted), created the merchant centre account feeds, created the AdWords campaigns, created the social accounts, email accounts, domain registration, business registration, bank accounts, visited the trade shows to build supplier relationships, flown over to Manila to train my VA and much more. Basically, there is not one else who helped setup the business, apart from the fantastic helping hands at Shopify and their App partners
