I started this business because I can see a big up trend in people wanting personalised products. I think this makes it easier to market when the buyer is getting something that actually means something to them. Pets are a huge part of our lives so who wouldn't want something funny to show them off.
The reason of selling this business
The main reason I decided to sell it is because I have too much going on and a few other projects I want to focus on. I will probably revisit the personalisation niche sometime in the future but right now someone else may as well make some money off it
What's involved in running this business
Because all the products are personalised to each buyer there is a tiny bit of manual work involved (but nothing that can't be outsourced to a VA). Once the customer places an order it will need to be sent to the designer (I worked with him to create the mockups so will give you his details) he'll return the finished product and you will just insert the image into the printify order and click fulfil. It's very straight forward but once you start getting orders you could easily get a VA to do that for you.
