I have always been intrigued by the idea of dropshipping and being able to run a business with a very minimal initial investment. I have always liked the idea of having a business that could run on autopilot allowing me to work from anywhere in the world. I stumbled across this product that solved a problem in a niche full of very dedicated customers and believed that it could perform very well. It definitely proved to do so.

UPDATE: I'm receiving more questions than I have the time to answer. I will be selling this to whoever makes it easiest for me. I'm willing to lower the price as long as you do not make this a hassle. I will provide every asset I have with this store. Facebook ad account is ready to be transferred to buyer. Running this business has been fun and I definitely learned a lot, however, I am not super passionate about this product or store and it really shows. I often find it hard to be motivated to work and grow this business. I have been working on a passion project business on the side that I would like to start putting more time and effort into and so selling this business and going all in feels like the right choice for me.

Here is a quick overview of this business: Started in november and had a slow start. Investing just $20-30/day in ads. I did not make any money this first month. I believe it to be partly due to the BF/CM rise in ad costs. Suddenly in December just after CM had ended, the business started to make profit. I also started running LLAs which really helped a lot. I made just about $500 profit in December. Nothing huge, but a great start for me. After making some consistent profit, I decided I would try to scale the store. In early January I began spending $300/day on ads and received just over $100/day net profit. I made $800 profit the first week of January. Unfortunately I then made some bad business decisions. I decided to switch over to a supplier who promised 5-7 day shipping, however, the cost was a bit more than I was used to. I made quite a bit of sales with this higher cost product, but I was unable to make it profitable and eventually returned to my previous supplier. This ate into a lot of my profits. I then decided to scale down during the Chinese New Year and test a new product which was warehoused in the U.S. This new product was definitely not a winner and I ended up spending the rest of my profits. If you have experience with facebook and know what you are doing, this can be turned into a quick buck. I have plenty of pixel data and a customer list of over 1000 people. My main product is definitely a winner and can be largely scaled in the right hands.

Other details about profit: This store had some very strong days of profit. Averaging around 20-30% consistent margins at one point, however, due to some bad business decisions with suppliers and the chinese new year, and now the corona virus most of the profits were lost later on. Overall, I did not make profit. The month of December 2019 and January 2020 were both profitable months. November the first month was not, and February was a very bad month as I switched to a more expensive supplier that promised better service. The margins were not big enough to profit. I have since switched back to a cheaper supplier. Shipping times with this supplier is longer (epacket) but they are good to work with. I am very transparent and will happily answer any questions on this. Customers tend to purchase multiple items per order so making profit is very possible with this product. I strongly believe that in the right hands, there could be a lot of potential with this store.

    How to grow this business

    Depends on how exactly you want this store to be run, but I personally would consider purchasing product in bulk and warehousing in the U.S. just to offer a better service to the customers and hopefully build a stronger relationship.

    Definitely be sure you know how to run profitable facebook ads. I will be giving you all of my current content and audiences that have worked well for me, but to continue testing and growing you should probably know what you are doing with facebook and have some sort of action plan.
