Business Story

Why this business was started

I was looking to make an additional stream of income whilst on maternity leave with my second child. I began trailing drop shipping style business and have adapted it holding physical stock to suit the local market demands. I have a love for marketing and fashion so an online fashion store made sense to me.

The reason of selling this business

I have returned to work and taken on further duties and hours that no longer allow me to invest the time required to maintain and grow my business.

What's involved in running this business

On a daily basis you would need to be involved in social media marketing. Also filling and sending orders. You would need to check new availability of upcoming releases and place orders to suppliers.

This business was founded: about 2 years ago
Time to run this business: approximately 10 hours per week

Description

General description

Our collection is carefully selected to ensure that you can wear your wardrobe from day to night. In the office or after work drinks.

Why should someone buy this store?

This business was established by a busy working mother with two small children. I have invested a lot of time and money into the setup of the store, but due to increasing demand of my day job and family commitments I have not been able to invest the time required to run and market the store. This store is ideal for anyone who wants to step into a business that has been setup ready to operate that you can add your own personal touch to.

How can the future owner improve the business?

With some time invested on Facebook advertising and and Instagram posts, this business would surely generate regular income.

What work have you put into the store?

I have setup a custom theme and seo back-links to help with google rankings. There is a Facebook page and Instagram page that has been setup that would also be sold with the store. Facebook page has approx 2400 followers globally and 4099 Instagram followers. We also offer a mailing list of approx 3000 people setup in MailChimp. This store is also setup for Google Shopping.
